Jane and I are so excited to see what projects you'll be casting on from our newest book - Within: Knitting Patterns to Warm the Soul that we thought it would be fun to run a knit along! It will be a casual, ongoing knit along where you can simply tag your projects with #withinknits on social media and Ravelry! 

If you're on Ravelry you can pop into our brand new MARIAN RAE PUBLICATIONS Ravelry Group and share your Within projects in the Within Knit Along thread! Feel free to chat, ask questions and more! We'll be featuring some of your finished projects and there may even be some prizes ;)

here's no end date, we're keeping it casual - we just want you guys to have fun and enjoy making the knits from the book! We love to see what you are all making!

EVENTS // WITHIN CANADIAN BOOK LAUNCH

We're so excited to be kicking off the Canadian launch of our newest book Within: Knitting Patterns to Warm the Soul at our local yarn shop - The Beehive Wool Shop in Victoria, BC, Canada. Join us on October 22nd, from 1-3pm to try on samples from the book, meet myself and Jane, get your books signed, shop & more!

The Beehive is a gorgeous and iconic knitting shop and one not to be missed if you've never been before! This timeless staple on the yarn shop scene is one of Canada's loveliest stores! Filled to the brim with tastefully curated yarns the Beehive is a must see on Vancouver Island. They are also the ONLY Canadian stockist of the coveted Brooklyn Tweed yarns!

Jane and I are beyond thrilled to be able to launch Within at the Beehive and we hope you will we hope you'll join us to celebrate the kick off of Within!!! We look forward to seeing you all at the Beehive!!

IT'S KNIT CITY TIME!

Can you believe this weekend will be the 5th anniversary of Knit City?! So much awesomeness packed into those 5 fabulous years! 

Join us at Knit City at the PNE in Vancouver, BC on Oct. 2 & 3rd for lots of fun! We are Booth #207.

We'll both have our pretty pattern lines for sale, as well as all of our books will be there too (Within too)! We will also have lots & lots of yummy samples for you to try on too! 

So don't be shy - come say hi!!!!

Oh my gosh you guys!!!! I've been waiting for this day so long! I'm so beyond excited to give you a sneak peek of our newest book "WITHIN: Knitting Patterns to Warm the Soul", by myself and Jane Richmond - coming October 5th!!!! EEEEEEEK!!!! It's here! We're so excited to let you all know that SEASONLESS is fully available!

You can now buy the paper booklet of SEASONLESS as well as the ebook and individual patterns! We think the SEASONLESS booklet bundle makes a wonderful xmas pressie for that special knitter in your life or for a lovely treat for yourself!

We've got a special announcement for you guys!

We have been excitedly counting down the days until this post you guys! It's been so hard to keep this all under wraps and not share anything over the last few months! Jane Richmond and I have been busy working on releasing our next project for our publishing company Marian Rae Publications! It's been tons of fun and lots of hard work. But that's all I can tell you for now...hehehe....you'll have to watch our sneak peek video below to find out a wee bit more.

We have some fun upcoming events this week!

We are so excited to announce that we will be at the amazing new shop - Tolt Yarn and Wool on March 13th for a book signing & trunk show!!!!! YAY! We're so excited to be able to make it in to visit this lovely shop & to get to visit & knit with you all!

You can find us there on March 13th, from 6p-8pm for their weekly Stitch Circle so bring your knitting!

We're so excited to be going back for our 2nd year to Vogue Knitting Live in Seattle, WA!!! We had such a great time last year and we are excitedly counting down to the event in March 2014! This year we will be having a book signing and trunk show!

You can find us at the STASH booth #310 on Saturday from 12-2pm for a book signing! We hope to see you all there! We will also have all of the items from JOURNEY on display at their booth all weekend as well! So exciting!
