JANE RICHMOND

Jane Richmond is a knitting designer, author, and publisher, living on Vancouver Island. She has been self-publishing her designs since 2008; she blogs about the process - and her inspiration - at JANERICHMOND.COM

Known for her classic aesthetic and clearly written patterns, Jane delivers designs that are fun to knit and easy to wear, with an appealing casual style. 

Jane is the author and co-publisher of Island (Marian Rae Publications, 2012), and the co-author and co-publisher of Seasonless (Marian Rae Publications, 2014), and Journey (Marian Rae Publications, 2013). Her work has also appeared in Cascadia: Knits from the West Coast (Co-Operative Press, 2013) and November Knits: Inspired Designs for Changing Seasons (Interweave Press, 2012).

SHANNON COOK

Shannon Cook is a knitting and sewing pattern designer, author and publisher, and the writer behind the popular blog VERYSHANNON.COM. She is happily living a handmade life near the ocean on Vancouver Island with her husband and two daughters.

Shannon designs patterns for the modern knitter. With their engaging textures, vibrant colors and striking lines, her fun, dynamic garments and accessories are destined to become wardrobe staples. 

Shannon is the co-author and co-publisher of Seasonless (Marian Rae Publications, 2014) and Journey (Marian Rae Publications, 2013), and co-publisher of Island (Marian Rae Publications, 2012). Her work has also appeared in such works as Coffeehouse Knits (Interweave, 2019), Laine (Issue 6, 2018), Brooklyn Tweed Wool People (June 2018), Making Magazine, Pom Pom Quarterly, Quince & Co.
